Everyone talking about Mike Gundy

Building off this weekend’s post about Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy attacking Jenni Carlson of the Daily Oklahoman over an article on QB Bobby Reid.
- Eloquation expresses the emotionally detached angle, and that is sorely needed.
- Deadspin commentators rally behind Gundy, and universally decry that Carlson is not hot.
- One of the sinister cabal of writers chimes in at BlogCritics (wait, I should have written this! Damn this two job life!)
QB Zac Robinson regarding Coach Gundy’s comments to the media after the game:
“All I know is that we have a coach that supports us in everything we do and is going to stick up for us. That’s how I feel. We haven’t really been talking about it with the team because we haven’t been to practice yet, but I think when you see a coach that has that much fight for his players it’s a good thing.”

Thanks for the link Vince. I tried to be as emotionally detached as possible — especially since I don’t have any vested interest in Mike Gundy or OSU at all. I’ll definitely be checking out the other links as well — I’m finding this to be quite the fascinating water-cooler topic!
